Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā
Text 2.118.41
तद्धनुः प्राप्य मे पित्रा व्याहृतं सत्यवादिना।
समवाये नरेन्द्राणां पूर्वमामन्त्र्य पार्थिवान्॥
tad dhanuḥ prāpya me pitrā vyāhṛtaṁ satyavādinā
samavāye narendrāṇāṁ pūrvam āmantrya pārthivān
tat = that; dhanuḥ = bow; prāpya = having obtained; me = my; pitrā = father; vyāhṛtam = and uttered [the following words]; satyavādinā = truthful; samavāye nara-indrāṇām = in the royal assembly; pūrvam = in the past; āmantrya = invited; pārthivān = kings.
Having obtained that bow in the past, my truthful father invited kings and uttered [the following words] in the royal assembly.
