Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā
Text 2.118.42
इदं च धनुरुद्यम्य सज्यं यः कुरुते नरः।
तस्य मे दुहिता भार्या भविष्यति न संशयः॥
idaṁ ca dhanur udyamya sajyaṁ yaḥ kurute naraḥ
tasya me duhitā bhāryā bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ
idam = this; ca = and; dhanuḥ = bow; udyamya = lifts; sajyam yaḥ kurute = who strings it; naraḥ tasya = of that man; me = my; duhitā = daughter; bhāryā = the wife; bhaviṣyati = will become; na saṁśayaḥ = undoubtedly.
My daughter will undoubtedly become the wife of that man who lifts this bow and strings it.
