Text 3.6.25
तपस्विनां रणे शत्रून्हन्तुमिच्छामि राक्षसान्।
पश्यन्तु वीर्यमृषयः सभ्रातुर्मे तपोधनाः॥
tapasvināṁ raṇe śatrūn hantum icchāmi rākṣasān
paśyantu vīryam ṛṣayaḥ sabhrātur me tapo-dhanāḥ
tapasvinām = of the ascetics; raṇe = in battle; śatrūn = the enemies; hantum = to kill; icchāmi = I wish; rākṣasān = the rākṣasas; paśyantu = may see; vīryam = potency; ṛṣayaḥ = the sages; sabhrātuḥ = and My brother’s [potency]; me = My; tapaḥ-dhanāḥ = rich with austerity.
I wish to kill the rākṣasas, the enemies of the ascetics, in battle. May the sages rich with austerity see My potency and My brother’s [potency]!
Here Śrī Rāma states the result of His residence in the forest.
