Chapter 8: Śrī Rāma Departs From Sutīkṣṇa’s Āśrama

द्रक्ष्यसे दृष्टिरम्याणि गिरिप्रस्रवणानि च।
रमणीयान्यरण्यानि मयुराभिरुतानि च॥
drakṣyase dṛṣṭi-ramyāṇi giri-prasravaṇāni ca
ramaṇīyāny araṇyāni mayūrābhirutāni ca
drakṣyase = You will see; dṛṣṭi-ramyāṇi = pleasing to the eyes; giri-prasravaṇāni ca = mountains and waterfalls; ramaṇīyāni = charming; araṇyāni = forests; mayūra-abhirutāni = filled with the sounds of peacocks; ca = and.
You will see mountains and waterfalls pleasing to the eyes and charming forests filled with the sounds of peacocks
He speaks this verse to specify that these features would be pleasing to Him.
