Chapter 10: Rāma Asserts His Unbreakable Resolution to Fulfill His Promises
Text 3.10.6

काले काले च निरता नियमैर्विविधैर्वने।
भक्ष्यन्ते राक्षसैर्भीमैर्नरमांसोपजीविभिः॥

kāle kāle ca niratā niyamair vividhair vane
bhakṣyante rākṣasair bhīmair nara-māṁsopajīvibhiḥ

kāle kāle ca = constantly; niratāḥ = while they are absorbed in following; niyamaiḥ = rules and regulations; vividhaiḥ = various; vane = in the forest; bhakṣyante = they are eaten; rākṣasaiḥ = rākṣasas; bhīmaiḥ = by terrible; nara-māṁsa-upajīvibhiḥ = who subsist on human flesh.

While they are constantly absorbed in following various rules and regulations in the forest, they are eaten by terrible rākṣasas who subsist on human flesh.
