Chapter 10: Rāma Asserts His Unbreakable Resolution to Fulfill His Promises

मया तु वचनं श्रुत्वा तेषामेवं मुखाच्च्युतम्।
कृत्वा चरणशुश्रूषां वाक्यमेतदुदाहृतम्॥
mayā tu vacanaṁ śrutvā teṣām evaṁ mukhāc cyutam
kṛtvā caraṇa-śuśrūṣāṁ vākyam etad udāhṛtam
mayā tu = I; vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; teṣām = their; evam = these; mukhāt = from mouths; cyutam = that had come; kṛtvā caraṇa-śuśrūṣām = served their feet and; vākyam = words; etat = the following; udāhṛtam = spoke.
Upon hearing these words that had come from their mouths, I served their feet and spoke the following words.
Śrī Rāma served their feet by offering obeisances unto them.
