स्थलीप्राये वनोद्देशे पिपलीवनशोभिते॥
बहुपुष्पफले रम्ये नानाशकुनिनादिते॥
पद्मिन्यो विविधास्तत्र प्रसन्नसलिलाः शिवाः।
हंसकारण्डवाकीर्णाश्चक्रवाकोपशोभिताः॥
sthalī-prāye vanoddeśe pippalī-vana-śobhite
bahu-puṣpa-phale ramye nānā-śakuni-nādite
padminyo vividhās tatra prasanna-salilāḥ śivāḥ
haṁsa-kāraṇḍavākīrṇāś cakravākopaśobhitāḥ
sthalī-prāye = that is almost a tableland; vana-uddeśe = spot in the forest; pippalī-vana-śobhite = beautified by an orchard of berry trees; bahu-puṣpa-phale = with plenty of flowers and fruits; ramye = in a pleasant; nānā-śakuni-nādite = resounding with [the chirps of] many birds; padminyaḥ = lotus ponds; vividhāḥ = many; tatra = there are; prasanna-salilāḥ = with clear water; śivāḥ = auspicious; haṁsa-kāraṇḍava-ākīrṇāḥ = crowded with rājahaṁsa and sārasa swans; cakravāka-upaśobhitāḥ = and beautified by cakravākas.
There are many auspicious lotus ponds with clear water, crowded with rājahaṁsa and sārasa swans, and beautified by cakravākas in a pleasant spot in the forest that is almost a tableland beautified by an orchard of berry trees with plenty of flowers and fruits, resounding with [the chirps of] many birds.
