Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.46
इति रामो मुनेः श्रुत्वा सह भ्रात्राभिवाद्य च।
प्रतस्थेऽगस्त्यमुद्दिश्य सानुजः सीतया सह॥
iti rāmo muneḥ śrutvā saha bhrātrābhivādya ca bhrātrā
pratasthe ’gastyam uddiśya sānujaḥ sītayā saha
iti = this; rāmaḥ = Rāma; muneḥ = from the sage; śrutvā = having heard; saha = and; bhrātrā = his brother; abhivādya = having offered him obeisances; ca = and; pratasthe = set out; agastyam = Agastya; uddiśya = to [meet]; sa-anujaḥ = with His younger brother Lakṣmaṇa; sītayā = Sītā; saha = and.
Having heard this from the sage and having offered him obeisances, Rāma set out with His younger brother Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā to [meet] Agastya and his brother.
