Just as [we have been told], I recognize the thousands of trees by the pathway in this forest. They are bent because of the weight of their fruits and flowers.
1 Rāmāyaṇa-bhūṣaṇa: yathā hi me pathi cihnatayā vanaṁ śrutaṁ tathaivāsya vanasya phala-bhāreṇa puṣpa-bhāreṇa ca sannatāḥ drumāḥ sahasraśo mayā jñātāḥ jñāyamānā vartante.
Rāmacandra recognized the trees on the pathway in the forest as signs in accordance with [the description] that He had heard [from the sage Sutīkṣṇa].1
