Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.65

स तं तथा भाषमाणं भ्रातरं विप्रघातिनम्।
अब्रवीत्प्रहसन्धीमानगस्त्यो मुनिसत्तमः॥

sa taṁ tathā bhāṣamāṇaṁ bhrātaraṁ vipra-ghātinam
abravīt prahasan dhīmān agastyo muni-sattamaḥ

saḥ = the; tam = to the; tathā = then; bhāṣamāṇam = who was speaking; bhrātaram = to his brother; vipra-ghātinam = killer of vipras; abravīt = spoke [the following words]; prahasan = smilingly; dhīmān = intelligent; agastyaḥ = Agastya; muni-sattamaḥ = the best of sages.

The intelligent Agastya, the best of sages, then smilingly spoke [the following words] to the killer of vipras who was speaking to his brother.
