Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.67

अथ तस्य वचः श्रुत्वा भ्रातुर्निधनसंश्रयम्।
धर्षयितुमारेभे मुनिं क्रोधान्निशाचरः॥

atha tasya vacaḥ śrutvā bhrātur nidhana-saṁśrayam
pradharṣayitum ārebhe muniṁ krodhān niśācaraḥ

atha1 tasya = his; vacaḥ = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; bhrātuḥ = of his brother; nidhana-saṁśrayam = about the destruction; pradharṣayitum = to inflict violence; ārebhe = began; munim = upon the sage; krodhāt = in anger; niśācaraḥ = the rākṣasa.

Upon hearing his words about the destruction of his brother, the rākṣasa began to inflict violence upon the sage in anger.
