Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.72
सम्यक्प्रतिगृहीतश्च मुनिना तेन राघवः।
न्यवसत्तां निशामेकां प्राश्य मूलफलानि च॥
samyak pratigṛhītaś ca muninā tena rāghavaḥ
nyavasat tāṁ niśām ekāṁ prāśya mūla-phalāni ca
samyak = properly; pratigṛhītaḥ ca = after rose [to welcome Him]; muninā = sage; tena = the; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava; nyavasat = spent; tām niśām = night; ekām = one; prāśya = ate and; mūla-phalāni ca = roots and fruits.
After the sage rose [to] properly [welcome Him], Rāghava ate roots and fruits and spent one night.
