Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.73
तस्यां रात्र्यां व्यतीतायां विमले सूर्यमण्डले।
भ्रातरं तमगस्त्यस्य ह्यामन्त्रयत राघवः॥
tasyāṁ rātryāṁ vyatītāyām udite sūrya-maṇḍale
bhrātaraṁ tam agastyasya hy āmantrayata rāghavaḥ
tasyām = when that; rātryām = night; vyatītāyām = passed; udite = arose; sūrya-maṇḍale = and the sun; bhrātaram = brother; tam = the; agastyasya = of Agastya; hi āmantrayata = took permission from [as follows]; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava.
When that night passed and the sun arose, Rāghava took permission from the brother of Agastya [as follows].
