Chapter 12: Agastya Requests Rāma to Protect the Sages
Text 3.12.7
पुत्रौ दशरथस्येमौ रामो लक्ष्मण एव च।
प्रविष्टावाश्रमपदं सीत्या सह भार्यया॥
putrau daśarathasyemau rāmo lakṣmaṇa eva ca
praviṣṭāv āśrama-padaṁ sītayā saha bhāryayā
putrau = two sons; daśarathasya = of Daśaratha; imau = the; rāmaḥ = Rāma; lakṣmaṇaḥ eva = Lakṣmaṇa; ca = and; praviṣṭau = have entered; āśrama-padam = the āśrama; sītayā = Sītā; saha = with; bhāryayā = Rāma’s wife.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, the two sons of Daśaratha, have entered the āśrama with Rāma’s wife Sītā.
