Chapter 12: Agastya Requests Rāma to Protect the Sages
Text 3.12.8

द्रष्टुं भवन्तमायातौ शुश्रूषार्थमरिंदमौ।
यदत्रानन्तरं तत्त्वमाज्ञापयितुमर्हसि॥

draṣṭuṁ bhavantam āyātau śuśrūṣārtham arindamau
yad atrānantaraṁ tat tvam ājñāpayitum arhasi

draṣṭum = to see; bhavantam = you; āyātau = have come; śuśrūṣā-artham = and serve; arindamau = the two subduers of enemies; yat = which; atra = [should be done] in this matter; anantaram = now that [They have arrived]; tat = that; tvam ājñāpayitum arhasi = please order.

The two subduers of enemies have come to see and serve you. Please order that which [should be done] in this matter now that [They have arrived].

The disciple requested the sage to instruct him on what to tell [Them].
