Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 12: Agastya Requests Rāma to Protect the Sages
Text 3.12.42

लक्ष्मणेन सह भ्रात्रा सीतया च परंतपः।
उपागच्छदमेयात्मा अगस्त्यं सूर्यवर्चसम्॥

lakṣmaṇena saha bhrātrā sītayā ca parantapaḥ
upāgacchad ameyātmā agastyaṁ sūrya-varcasam

lakṣmaṇena = Lakṣmaṇa; saha = with; bhrātrā = His brother; sītayā = Sītā; ca = and; parantapaḥ = who scorched His enemies; upāgacchat = approached; ameya-ātmā1 = the unlimited Soul; agastyam = Agastya; sūrya-varcasam = whose splendor was like that of the sun.

With His brother Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā, the unlimited Soul who scorched His enemies approached Agastya whose splendor was like that of the sun.

1 Technical note: The lack of sandhi between ameyātmā and agastyaṁ can be explained on the basis of saṁhitaika-pade nityā nityā dhātūpasargayoḥ / nityā samāse vākye tu sā vivakṣām apekṣate. The author didn’t want to apply it in the vākya.
