शयनासनदानेन भोजनाच्छादनैः शुभैः।
राज्ञो दशरथस्यैव पुरस्यान्तःपुरे यथा।
सुखोषिताः स्म भगवन्सर्वकामैरुपस्थिताः॥
śayanāsana-dānena bhojanācchādanaiḥ śubhaiḥ
rājño daśarathasyaiva purasyāntaḥ-pure yathā
sukhoṣitāḥ sma bhagavan sarva-kāmair upasthitāḥ
śayana-āsana-dānena = with the beds, seats given [by you]; bhojana-ācchādanaiḥ = food and clothes; śubhaiḥ = pleasant; rājñaḥ = of King; daśarathasya = Daśaratha; eva = itself; purasya = of the city; antaḥ-pure = [we were] in the inner quarters; yathā = just as; sukha-uṣitāḥ sma = we have been comfortable; bhagavan = revered sage; sarva-kāmaiḥ upasthitāḥ = with all desirables at our disposal.
“Revered sage, with the beds, seats, pleasant food and clothes given [by you], we have been comfortable with all desirables at our disposal just as [we were] in the inner quarters of the city of King Daśaratha itself!”
