Chapter 12: Agastya Requests Rāma to Protect the Sages
Text 3.12.51
धन्योऽस्म्यनुगृहीतोऽस्मि यस्य मे मुनिपुङ्गव।
प्रीयमाणस्तु सुप्रीतो नास्ति धन्यतरो मम॥
dhanyo ’smy anugṛhīto ’smi yasya me muni-puṅgava
prīyamāṇas tu suprīto nāsti dhanyataro mama
dhanyaḥ = blessed; asmi = I am; anugṛhītaḥ = favored; asmi = I am; yasya me = with Me; muni-puṅgava = O foremost of sages; prīyamāṇaḥ tu = being satisfied; suprītaḥ = [you are] very affectionate [to Me]; na = none; asti = there is; dhanyataraḥ = more fortunate; mama = than Me.
O foremost of sages, I am blessed. I am favored. Being satisfied with Me, [you are] very affectionate [to Me]. There is none more fortunate than Me.
