Chapter 13: Rāma Departs for Pañcavaṭī
Text 3.13.23
एतदालक्ष्यते वीर मधूकानां महद्वनम्।
उत्तरेणास्य गन्तव्यं न्यग्रोधमभिगच्छता॥
etad ālakṣyate vīra madhūkānāṁ mahad vanam
uttareṇāsya gantavyaṁ nyagrodham abhigacchatā
etat = there; ālakṣyate = will be seen; vīra = O hero; madhūkānām = of mahua trees; mahat = a great; vanam = forest; uttareṇa = to north; asya = its; gantavyam = go further; nyagrodham = a banyan tree; abhigacchatā = while approaching.
O hero, while approaching a banyan tree, a great forest of mahua trees will be seen there. Go further to its north.
