golāṅgūlāṁś ca śārdūlī vyāghrāṁś cājanayat sutān
diśā-gajāṁś ca kākutstha śvetāpy ajanayat sutān
golāṅgūlān ca = to golāṅgūlas; śārdūlī = Śārdūlī; vyāghrān = tigers; ca = and; ajanayat = gave birth; sutān = as her sons; diśā-gajān ca = to the dig-gajas; kākutstha = O descendant of Kakutstha; śvetā api = Śvetā; ajanayat = gave birth; sutān = as her sons.
O descendant of Kakutstha, Śārdūlī gave birth to golāṅgūlas and tigers as her sons. Śvetā gave birth to the dig-gajas as her sons.1
1 The dig-gajas are the elephants guarding the directions. We have already come across them in the First Canto of Śrī Rāmāyaṇa.
Golāṅgūlas are a kind of monkeys with extremely long tails.
