Chapter 19: Khara Sends Fourteen Rākṣasas to Destroy Rāma
Text 3.19.6
देवगन्धर्वभूतानामृषीणां च महात्मनाम्।
कोऽयमेवं विरूपां त्वां महावीर्यश्चकार ह॥
deva-gandharva-bhūtānām ṛṣīṇāṁ ca mahātmanām
ko ’yam evaṁ virūpāṁ tvāṁ mahā-vīryaś cakāra ha
deva-gandharva-bhūtānām = among the devas, gandharvas, bhūtas; ṛṣīṇām = ṛṣis; ca = and; mahā-ātmanām = great souls; kaḥ = who; ayam = has done such an activity; evam = such; virūpām = deformed; tvām = you; mahā-vīryaḥ = possesses great heroic power; cakāra ha = that he has made.
Who among the devas, gandharvas, bhūtas, ṛṣiṣ and great souls possesses such great heroic power that he has made you deformed?1
1 Bhūtas refer to ghosts.
