Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 19: Khara Sends Fourteen Rākṣasas to Destroy Rāma
Text 3.19.10

कस्य पत्ररथाः कायान्मांसमुत्कृत्य सङगताः।
प्रहृष्टा भक्षयिष्यन्ति निहतस्य मया रणे॥

kasya patra-rathāḥ kāyān māṁsam utkṛtya saṅgatāḥ
prahṛṣṭā bhakṣayiṣyanti nihatasya mayā raṇe

kasya = whose; patra-rathāḥ = by birds; kāyāt = from his body; māṁsam = flesh; utkṛtya = will be cut off; saṅgatāḥ = that have come together; prahṛṣṭāḥ = in delight; bhakṣayiṣyanti = and eaten; nihatasya = when he has been slain; mayā = by me; raṇe = in battle.

Whose flesh will be cut off from his body and eaten by birds that have come together in delight when he has been slain by me in battle?1

1 Literally, this verse means: “Delighted birds who have assembled together will rip apart the body and eat the flesh of which person after he has been slain by me in battle?”
