Chapter 20: Rāma Kills the Fourteen Rākṣasas

राघवोऽपि महच्चापं चामीकरविभूषितम्।
चकार सज्यं धर्मात्मा तानि रक्षांसि चाब्रवीत्॥
rāghavo ’pi mahac cāpaṁ cāmīkara-vibhūṣitam
cakāra sajyaṁ dharmātmā tāni rakṣāṁsi cābravīt
rāghavaḥ api = Rāghava; mahat = His great; cāpam = bow; cāmīkara-vibhūṣitam = decorated with gold; cakāra sajyam = strung; dharma-ātmā = of a dhārmika mind; tāni = to those; rakṣāṁsi = rākṣasas; ca = and; abravīt = spoke [as follows].
