Chapter 26: Rāmacandra Destroys Dūṣaṇa and his Followers
Text 3.26.7

ततो रामः सुसंक्रुद्धः क्षुरेणास्य महद्धनुः।
चिच्छेद समरे वीरश्चतुर्भिश्चतुरो हयान्॥

tato rāmaḥ susaṅkruddhaḥ kṣureṇāsya mahad dhanuḥ
ciccheda samare vīraś caturbhiś caturo hayān

tataḥ = then; rāmaḥ = Rāma; susaṅkruddhaḥ = [became] very furious; kṣureṇa = with a sharp [arrow]; asya = Dūṣaṇa’s; mahat = great; dhanuḥ = bow; ciccheda = and cut; samare = in battle; vīraḥ = the hero; caturbhiḥ = with four arrows; caturaḥ = [also pierced Dūṣaṇa’s] four; hayān = horses.

Rāma then [became] very furious and cut Dūṣaṇa’s great bow with a sharp [arrow] in battle. The hero [also pierced Dūṣaṇa’s] four horses with four arrows.
