Chapter 26: Rāmacandra Destroys Dūṣaṇa and his Followers
Text 3.26.34
तस्य सैन्यस्य सर्वस्य खरः शेषो महारथः।
राक्षसस्त्रिशिराश्चैव रामश्च रिपुसूदनः॥
tasya sainyasya sarvasya kharaḥ śeṣo mahā-rathaḥ
rākṣasas triśirāś caiva rāmaś ca ripu-sūdanaḥ
tasya = the; sainyasya = warriors who had gone on war; sarvasya = among all; kharaḥ = Khara; śeṣaḥ = survived; mahā-rathaḥ = [only] the great chariot-fighter; rākṣasaḥ = the rākṣasa; triśirāḥ ca eva = Triśirā; rāmaḥ = Rāma; ca = and; ripu-sūdanaḥ = the killer of His enemies.
Among all the warriors who had gone on war, [only] the great chariot-fighter Khara, the rākṣasa Triśirā and Rāma, the killer of His enemies, survived.
