Chapter 27: Rāma Kills Triśirā
Text 3.27.5
प्रहृष्टे वा हते रामे जनस्थानं प्रयास्यसि।
मयि वा निहते रामं संयुगायोपयास्यसि॥
prahṛṣṭe vā hate rāme janasthānaṁ prayāsyasi
mayi vā nihate rāmaṁ saṁyugāyopayāsyasi
prahṛṣṭe = arrogant; vā = either; hate = will be killed; rāme = Rāma; janasthānam = to Janasthāna; prayāsyasi = and you will depart; mayi = I; vā = or; nihate = will be killed; rāmam = Rāma; saṁyugāya = for a battle; upayāsyasi = and you will approach.
Either arrogant Rāma will be killed and you will depart to Janasthāna or I will be killed and you will approach Rāma for a battle.1
