Chapter 30: Khara Destroyed
Text 3.30.25

स तं दत्तं मघवता सुरराजेन धीमता।
सन्दधे चापि धर्मात्मा मुमोच च खरं प्रति॥

sa taṁ dattaṁ maghavatā sura-rājena dhīmatā
sandadhe cāpi dharmātmā mumoca ca kharaṁ prati

saḥ = Rāma; tam = the arrow; dattam = the arrow had been given; maghavatā = by Indra; sura-rājena = king of the demigods; dhīmatā = the intelligent; sandadhe ca = fixed to His bow; api dharma-ātmā = of a dhārmika mind; mumoca ca = and discharged it; kharam = Khara; prati = towards.

Rāma, whose mind was dhārmika, fixed the arrow to His bow and discharged it towards Khara. The arrow had been given by Indra, the intelligent king of the demigods.

Indra was intelligent, that is, he knew the attitude [of the Lord and the sages]. The arrow had been given [to Lord Rāma] by Indra through Agastya.
