Chapter 31: Rāvaṇa’s Conversation with Akampana and Mārīca
Text 3.31.33
बाढं काल्यं गमिष्यामि ह्येकः सारथिना सह।
आनयिष्यामि वैदेहीमिमां हृष्टो महापुरीम्॥
bāḍhaṁ kālyaṁ gamiṣyāmi hy ekaḥ sārathinā saha
ānayiṣyāmi vaidehīm imāṁ hṛṣṭo mahā-purīm
bāḍham = alright; kālyam = early tomorrow morning; gamiṣyāmi hi = I will go; ekaḥ = alone; sārathinā = my charioteer; saha = with; ānayiṣyāmi = bring; vaidehīm = Vaidehī; imām = to this; hṛṣṭaḥ = and happily; mahā-purīm = great city.
Alright! Early tomorrow morning I will go alone with my charioteer and happily bring Vaidehī to this great city.
