Chapter 42: Mārīca Becomes an Enchanting Deer
Text 3.42.7
आरुह्यतामयं शीघ्रं रथो रत्नविभूषितः।
मया सह तथा युक्तः पीशाचवदनैः खरैः॥
āruhyatām ayaṁ śīghraṁ ratho ratna-vibhūṣitaḥ
mayā saha tathā yuktaḥ pīśāca-vadanaiḥ kharaiḥ
āruhyatām = get on; ayam = to this; śīghram = quickly; rathaḥ = chariot; ratna-vibhūṣitaḥ = it is ornamented with jewels; mayā = me; saha = along with; tathā = and; yuktaḥ = yoked; pīśāca-vadanaiḥ = that had the faces of piśācas; kharaiḥ = to mules.
