Chapter 43: Sītā Sees the Magical Deer
Text 3.43.3
आहूयाहूय च पुनस्तं मृगं साधु वीक्षते।
आगच्छागच्छ शीघ्रं वै आर्यपुत्र सहानुजः॥
āhūyāhūya ca punas taṁ mṛgaṁ sādhu vīkṣate
āgacchāgaccha śīghraṁ vai ārya-putra sahānujaḥ
āhūya āhūya ca = while addressing; punaḥ = repeatedly; tam = Rāma; mṛgam = at the deer; sādhu = closely; vīkṣate = she looked; āgaccha = come; āgaccha = come; śīghram vai = quickly; ārya-putra = O son of the noble king; saha-anujaḥ = with Your younger brother.
She looked closely at the deer while repeatedly addressing Rāma, “O son of the noble king, come! Quickly come with Your younger brother!”
