Chapter 43: Sītā Sees the Magical Deer
Text 3.43.28

मसारगल्लर्कमुखः शङ्खमुक्तानिभोदरः।
कस्य नामाभिरूपोऽसौ न मनो लोभयेन्मृगः॥

masāra-gallarka-mukhaḥ śaṅkha-muktā-nibhodaraḥ
kasya nāmābhirūpo ’sau na mano lobhayen mṛgaḥ

masāra-gallarka-mukhaḥ = its mouth resembles a cup made out of sapphire 6; śaṅkha-muktā-nibha-udaraḥ = its belly resembles the conch and the pearl; kasya = whose; nāma = indeed; abhirūpaḥ = beautiful; asau = this; na = not; manaḥ = mind; lobhayet = would entice; mṛgaḥ = deer.

Its mouth resembles a cup made out of sapphire. Its belly resembles the conch and the pearl. Indeed, whose mind would this beautiful deer not entice?
