Chapter 43: Sītā Sees the Magical Deer
Text 3.43.41

स कदाचिच्चिराल्लोभादाससाद महामुनिम्।
अगस्त्यं तेजसा युक्तं भक्षस्तस्य बभूव ह॥

sa kadācic cirāl lobhād āsasāda mahā-munim
agastyaṁ tejasā yuktaṁ bhakṣas tasya babhūva ha

saḥ = he; kadācit = once; cirāt = after a long time; lobhāt = out of greed; āsasāda = met; mahā-munim = the great sage; agastyam = Agastya; tejasā = with prowess; yuktam = who was endowed; bhakṣaḥ = meal; tasya = the sage’s; babhūva ha = he became.

After a long time, out of greed he once met the great sage Agastya who was endowed with prowess. He became the sage’s meal.
