पुनरेव ततो दूराद्वृक्षषण्डाद्विनिःसृतम्।
दृष्ट्वा रामो महातेजास्तं हन्तुं कृतनिश्चयः।
भूयस्तु शरमुद्धृत्य कुपितस्तत्र राघवः॥

dṛṣṭvā rāmo mahā-tejās taṁ hantuṁ kṛta-niścayaḥ
bhūyas tu śaram uddhṛtya kupitas tatra rāghavaḥ
punaḥ eva = again; tataḥ = then; dūrāt = at a distance; vṛkṣa-ṣaṇḍāt = of a clump of trees; viniḥsṛtam = coming out; dṛṣṭvā = noticed; rāmaḥ = Rāma; mahā-tejāḥ = whose prowess was great; tam = the deer; hantum = to kill it; kṛta-niścayaḥ = became determined; bhūyaḥ tu = He was extremely; śaram = an arrow; uddhṛtya = and took out; kupitaḥ = angry; tatra = right there; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava.
Then, Rāma, whose prowess was great, again noticed the deer coming out of a clump of trees at a distance. Rāghava became determined to kill it right there and took out an arrow. He was extremely angry.
