Chapter 45: Sītā Chastises Lakṣmaṇa
Text 3.45.14
अनिवार्यं बलं तस्य बलैर्बलवतामपि।
त्रिभिर्लोकैः समुद्युक्तैः सेश्वरैरपि सामरैः॥
anivāryaṁ balaṁ tasya balair balavatām api
tribhir lokaiḥ samudyuktaiḥ seśvarair api sāmaraiḥ
anivāryam = cannot be contained; balam = strength; tasya = His; balaiḥ = armies; balavatām = of powerful [universal rulers]; api = even; tribhiḥ = in the three; lokaiḥ = worlds; samudyuktaiḥ = by well-equipped; sa-īśvaraiḥ = by their lords; api = and; sa-amaraiḥ = by the immortals.
His strength cannot even be contained by well-equipped armies of powerful [universal rulers] in the three worlds, by their lords and by the immortals.
