Chapter 45: Sītā Chastises Lakṣmaṇa
Text 3.45.22
रामस्य व्यसनं दृष्ट्वा तेनैतानि प्रभाषसे॥
rāmasya vyasanaṁ dṛṣṭvā tenaitāni prabhāṣase
rāmasya = Rāma’s; vyasanam = calamity; dṛṣṭvā = upon observing; tena = because You are like this; etāni = these words; prabhāṣase = you speak.
Because You are like this, you speak these words upon observing Rāma’s calamity.
