Chapter 45: Sītā Chastises Lakṣmaṇa
Text 3.45.33

गमिष्ये यत्र काकुत्स्थः स्वस्ति तेऽस्तु वरानने।
रक्षन्तु त्वां विशालाक्षि समग्रा वनदेवताः॥

gamiṣye yatra kākutsthaḥ svasti te ’stu varānane
rakṣantu tvāṁ viśālākṣi samagrā vana-devatāḥ

gamiṣye = I will go; yatra = [to that place] where; kākutsthaḥ = Kākutstha is; svasti = auspiciousness; te = unto you; astu = may there be; vara-ānane = O lady with a beautiful face; rakṣantu = may protect; tvām = you; viśāla-akṣi = O wide-eyed lady; samagrāḥ = all; vana-devatāḥ = the forest deities.

I will go [to that place] where Kākutstha is.1 May there be auspiciousness unto you, O lady with a beautiful face! O wide-eyed lady, may all the forest deities protect you!
