Chapter 52: Rāvaṇa Again Abducts Sītā
Text 3.52.7
रावणेन हृतां मां हि कथयित्वा विहङ्गम।
राघवाभ्यां यथातत्त्वमथो हास्यसि जीवितम्।।
rāvaṇena hṛtāṁ māṁ hi kathayitvā vihaṅgama
rāghavābhyāṁ yathā-tattvam atho hāsyasi jīvitam
rāvaṇena = by Rāvaṇa; hṛtām = was abducted; mām hi = that I; kathayitvā = you inform; vihaṅgama = O bird; rāghavābhyām = the two descendants of Raghu; yathā-tattvam = truthfully; atho = after; hāsyasi = give up; jīvitam = your life.
O bird, give up your life after you truthfully inform the two descendants of Raghu that I was abducted by Rāvaṇa.
