Chapter 52: Rāvaṇa Again Abducts Sītā
Text 3.52.32
तस्या भूषणघोषेण वैदेह्या राक्षसाधिपः।
बभौ सचपलो नीलः सघोष इव तोयदः॥
tasyā bhūṣaṇa-ghoṣeṇa vaidehyā rākṣasādhipaḥ
babhau sacapalo nīlaḥ saghoṣa iva toyadaḥ
tasyāḥ = on the; bhūṣaṇa-ghoṣeṇa = with the jingling of the ornaments; vaidehyāḥ = princess of Videha; rākṣasa-adhipaḥ = the king of the rākṣasas; babhau = appeared to be; sacapalaḥ = accompanied by lightning; nīlaḥ = a dark; saghoṣaḥ = rumbling; iva1 toyadaḥ = rain cloud.
With the jingling of the ornaments on the princess of Videha, the king of the rākṣasas appeared to be a dark, rumbling rain cloud accompanied by lightning.

It is implied that he resembled a rumbling cloud that quickly withered away.
