Chapter 53: Sītā Chastises Rāvaṇa
Text 3.53.14
मत्प्रधर्षणरुष्टो हि भ्रात्रा सह पतिर्मम।
विधास्यति विनाशाय त्वं मां यदि न मुञ्चसि॥
mat-pradharṣaṇa-ruṣṭo hi bhrātrā saha patir mama
vidhāsyati vināśāya tvaṁ māṁ yadi na muñcasi
mat-pradharṣaṇa-ruṣṭaḥ hi = enraged that you have abducted me; bhrātrā saha = and His brother; patiḥ = husband; mama = my; vidhāsyati = will strive; vināśāya = to destroy you; tvam = you; mām = me; yadi = if; na = do not; muñcasi = release.
Enraged that you have abducted me, my husband and His brother will strive to destroy you if you do not release me.1

She anticipated that Rāvaṇa might say, “I will also succeed in my endeavor” and therefore she speaks the next verse.
