Chapter 54: Rāvaṇa Brings Sītā to Laṅkā
Text 3.54.15
मुक्तामणिसुवर्णानि वस्त्राण्याभरणानि च।
यद्यदिच्छेत्तदेवास्या देयं मच्छन्दतो यथा॥
muktāmaṇi-suvarṇāni vastrāṇy ābharaṇāni ca
yad yad icchet tad evāsyā deyaṁ mac-chandato yathā
muktā-maṇi-suvarṇāni = pearls, jewels, gold; vastrāṇi = garments; ābharaṇāni = ornaments; ca = and; yat yat = whatever; icchet = she desires; tat eva1 asyāḥ = her; deyam = give; mat-chandataḥ = when I desire [them]; yathā = just as [you would].
Give her pearls, jewels, gold, garments and ornaments—whatever she desires—just as [you would] when I desire [them].
