Chapter 60: Rāma Searches for Sītā
Text 3.60.31

नूनं तच्छुभदन्तोष्ठं सुनासं चारुकुण्डलम्।
पूर्णचन्द्रमिव ग्रस्तं मुखं निष्प्रभतां गतम्॥

nūnaṁ tac chubha-dantoṣṭhaṁ sunāsaṁ cāru-kuṇḍalam
pūrṇa-candram iva grastaṁ mukhaṁ niṣprabhatāṁ gatam

nūnam = it is certain that; tat = that; śubha-danta-oṣṭham = it had beautiful teeth and lips; sunāsam = a nice nose; cāru-kuṇḍalam = and [was decorated] with lovely earrings; pūrṇa-candram = the full moon; iva = like; grastam = eclipsed by Rāhu; mukham = face [of hers]; niṣprabhatām gatam = has lost its luster [now].

It is certain that that face [of hers] has lost its luster [now], like the full moon eclipsed by Rāhu. It had beautiful teeth and lips, a nice nose and [was decorated] with lovely earrings.
