Chapter 60: Rāma Searches for Sītā
Text 3.60.32

सा हि चम्पकवर्णाभा ग्रीवा ग्रैवेयशोभिता।
कोमला विलपन्त्यास्तु कान्ताया भक्षिता शुभा॥

sā hi campaka-varṇābhā grīvā graiveya-śobhitā
komalā vilapantyās tu kāntāyā bhakṣitā śubhā

= the; hi = certainly; campaka-varṇa-ābhā = had the complexion of the campaka [flower]; grīvā = neck; graiveya-śobhitā = and was [further] beautified by a necklace; komalā = and tender; vilapantyāḥ tu = while she lamented; kāntāyāḥ = of My beloved; bhakṣitā = it would have been devoured; śubhā = beautiful.

The beautiful and tender neck of My beloved had the complexion of the campaka [flower and] was [further] beautified by a necklace. Certainly, it would have been devoured while she lamented.
