Chapter 61: Rāma’s Lamentation
Text 3.61.18
तस्या ह्यन्वेषणे श्रीमन्क्षिप्रमेव यतावहै॥
tasyā hy anveṣaṇe śrīman kṣipram eva yatāvahai
tasyāḥ hi = her; anveṣaṇe = to find; śrīman = auspicious Rāma; kṣipram eva = quickly; yatāvahai = let Us try.
Auspicious Rāma, let Us quickly try to find her!
By using the word “auspicious,” Lakṣmaṇa intends to tell Rāma, “You don’t have [the inauspicious] trait of being separated from Your wife.”
