Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.4
तां लक्ष्मणस्तीर्थवतीं विचित्वा राममब्रवीत्॥
tāṁ lakṣmaṇas tīrthavatīṁ vicitvā rāmam abravīt
tām = in Godāvarī; lakṣmaṇaḥ = Lakṣmaṇa; tīrthavatīm = which had ghats; vicitvā = looked [for her] and; rāmam = to Rāma; abravīt = and spoke [as follows].
Lakṣmaṇa looked [for Sītā-devī] in Godāvarī which had ghats and spoke to Rāma [as follows].
