Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.27
अभिजानामि पुष्पाणि तानीमानीह लक्ष्मण।
पिनद्धानीह वैदेह्या मया दत्तानि कानने॥
abhijānāmi puṣpāṇi tānīmānīha lakṣmaṇa
pinaddhānīha vaidehyā mayā dattāni kānane
abhijānāmi = I recognize; puṣpāṇi = flowers; tāni = they; imāni = these; iha = here; lakṣmaṇa = Lakṣmaṇa; pinaddhāni = were worn; iha = today; vaidehyā = by Vaidehī; mayā dattāni = I had given them to her; kānane = in the forest.
Lakṣmaṇa, I recognize these flowers here. They were worn by Vaidehī today. I had given them to her in the forest.
