Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.41

tapta-bindu-nikāśaiś ca citraiḥ kṣataja-bindubhiḥ
āvṛtaṁ paśya saumitre sarvato dharaṇī-talam

tapta-bindu-nikāśaiḥ ca = that resemble drops of gold; citraiḥ = with several kinds; kṣataja-bindubhiḥ = of blood drops; āvṛtam = is covered; paśya = look; saumitre = Saumitri; sarvataḥ = completely; dharaṇī-talam = the land [here].

Saumitri, look! The land [here] is completely covered with several kinds of blood drops that resemble drops of gold.1
