Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.67
आकर्णपूर्णैरिषुभिर्जीवलोकं दुरावरैः।
करिष्ये मैथिलीहेतोरपिशाचमराक्षसम्॥
ākarṇa-pūrṇair iṣubhir jīva-lokaṁ durāvaraiḥ
kariṣye maithilī-hetor apiśācam arākṣasam
ākarṇa-pūrṇaiḥ = long enough to reach My ear [when placed on My bow]; iṣubhiḥ = arrows; jīva-lokam = the entire universe of living entities; durāvaraiḥ = with invincible; kariṣye = I will make; maithilī-hetoḥ = because of Maithilī; apiśācam = devoid of the piśācas; arākṣasam = and rākṣasas.
With invincible arrows long enough to reach My ear [when placed on My bow], I will make the entire universe of living entities devoid of the piśācas and rākṣasas because of Maithilī.
