Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.72
तथारूपां हि वैदेहीं न दास्यन्ति यदि प्रियाम्।
नाशयामि जगत्सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्॥
tathā-rūpāṁ hi vaidehīṁ na dāsyanti yadi priyām
nāśayāmi jagat sarvaṁ trailokyaṁ sacarācaram
tathā-rūpām hi = the way she was; vaidehīm = Vaidehī; na dāsyanti = they don’t give; yadi = if; priyām = My beloved; nāśayāmi = I will destroy; jagat = the living beings; sarvam = all; trailokyam = in the three worlds; sacarācaram = including the moving and the nonmoving.
If they don’t give My beloved Vaidehī the way she was, I will destroy all the living beings in the three worlds, including the moving and the nonmoving.
