Chapter 72: Kabandha Tells Rāma About Sugrīva
Text 3.72.23
न तस्याविदितं लोके किञ्चिदस्ति हि राघव।
यावत्सूर्यः प्रतपति सहस्रांशुररिन्दम॥
na tasyāviditaṁ loke kiñcid asti hi rāghava
yāvat sūryaḥ pratapati sahasrāṁśur arindama
na = nothing; tasya = to him; aviditam = unknown; loke = in the world; kiñcit1 asti hi = there will be; rāghava = O Rāghava; yāvat = as long as; sūryaḥ = the sun; pratapati = heats [the universe]; sahasra-aṁśuḥ = with his thousand rays; arindama = O subduer of enemies.
O Rāghava, O subduer of enemies, as long as the sun with his thousand rays heats [the universe], there will be nothing unknown to him in the world.
