Chapter 73: Kabandha Requests Śrī Rāma to Visit Śabarī
Text 3.73.34
यस्तु तं विषमाचारः पापकर्माधिरोहति।
तत्रैव प्रहरन्त्येनं सुप्तमादाय राक्षसाः॥
yas tu taṁ viṣamācāraḥ pāpa-karmādhirohati
tatraiva praharanty enaṁ suptam ādāya rākṣasāḥ
yaḥ tu = but [if] a; tam = over it; viṣama-ācāraḥ = man of dishonest behavior; pāpa-karmā = and sinful acts; adhirohati = climbs; tatra eva = there; praharanti = and attack; enam = him; suptam = him while he is asleep; ādāya = seize; rākṣasāḥ = rākṣasas.
But [if] a man whose behavior is dishonest and who acts sinfully climbs over it, rākṣasas seize him and attack him while he is asleep there.
